“Inner space is the real frontier.”
Gloria Steinem
E-COMMERCE and advertising are perhaps the two most significant emerging holographic markets right now. From 3D modeling online when you purchase to spatialized billboards out of home, these burgeoning arenas of holography will familiarize us with the promise and potential of the realm. As it happens, these holograms are not part of the 10,000 advertisements digital and otherwise every one of us is exposed to on a daily basis. They will have novelty, at the start. But pretty soon that novelty value will also wear out. And that’s when the spatial realm really takes off – when brands that understand the grammar and drama of space zoom out way past those that simply treat space like digital junk. Space is not a screen. You do not own space. Other people inhabit it.
“If you’re a product maker your spatial realm emerges out of packaging and placement.”
