Inside the book
People, products, places and data: the four things the spatial realm brings to life. One chapter in every act is free to read.
Act I
Human holograms are the part of the spatial realm we already know: the concert, the keynote, the legend brought back to the stage. Act I takes telepresence away from the celebrities and asks what happens when anyone can be in two places at once, and what it means for your work, your family and your legacy.
About Act I →Act II
Products are life stories, not just life cycles. Act II follows a product from design to delivery to the return desk and shows where spatial content saves the launch, sells the inside as well as the outside, and turns the space around a product into a stage.
About Act II →Act III
Most places are too far away, too anonymous or closed when we arrive. Act III shows how hotels, arenas, hospitals, campuses and shops can fill their empty space with presence and story, and become destinations people return to.
About Act III →Act IV
We live in the age of interruption, buried in dashboards. Act IV argues that data belongs in space, where teams can walk around it, question it and see the small details that big data steamrolls, and decide with the whole picture in view.
